Development work

Internal AI assistant

Development work supporting access to technical knowledge and production workflows.

The business need

When maintenance notes, technical documents and work instructions are stored in different places, finding the right information can be difficult. In production, the source behind an answer matters as much as its speed.

My area of work

I combine my toolmaking and technical maintenance experience with internal AI assistant development. My focus is translating operational needs into software tasks and organizing repetitive information retrieval.

Proposed pilot workflow

This workflow illustrates a technical approach. It is not a recording of a working product or a completed customer implementation.

Step 1 / 4
  1. Choose one team, a limited document collection and a clear purpose for the first pilot.

  2. Review permissions, document versions and access rights. Do not upload confidential files without controls.

  3. Show the source behind the answer. When information is insufficient, state uncertainty rather than inventing an answer.

  4. A responsible person checks the answer against its source. Errors and gaps are added to the test set.

How should the pilot be evaluated?

  • Compare the time needed to answer the same questions manually and with the pilot.
  • Review source accuracy with an authorized subject specialist.
  • Record unanswered questions, outdated documents and correction effort.

Limits and human review

  • An AI answer does not replace approved work instructions or safety procedures.
  • Access and freshness need separate checks; correct answers to every question are not guaranteed.

Evidence and current status

No actual product recording or verified performance measurement is published on this page. Business-specific results can only be shared after an authorized pilot and measurement.

Let’s start with one workflow.

Briefly describe your business, repetitive task and existing software. Please do not send customer documents, passwords or confidential technical files in your first message.
